Many Bollywood movies are shot in real locations and iconic places across the world, but filmmakers have a special connection with the City of Dreams, Mumbai. We have been witnessing it for years now when stars shoot at iconic places in Mumbai and lead many of us to go down memory lane. Photographer Murtaza Ametwala has a creative eye and this young lad has revived our memories in the quirkiest way possible. And trust us his Instagram account is flooded with it.

Murtaza has recreated these Bollywood moments with photographs of a particular frame from the movie, on the exact point it was shot, while the rest of the surrounding does its magic. His Instagram gallery includes a scene shot at Flora Fountain in Churchgate for the movie Ghajini starring Aamir Khan and Asin, CST station exterior where Naseeruddin Shah shot for his A Wednesday, Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi riding on the bike for Lage Raho Munnabhai where one can see the Asiatic library in the scene.



Along with Bollywood movies, he has also recreated scenes from web series such as Pratik Gandhi’s Scam, Anil Kapoor starrer AK vs AK, Four More Shots Please and more.
